| Late
1980’s, USA.
Very rare.
The handles, handguards and clappers look the same as modern Schulmerich bells.
The castings are smoth, chrome-plated bronze, and are straight, not flared out
like regular handbells.
The inside of the castings have pronounced file or grinding marks.
They have more of a tower bell sound and are more effective when used for a single melody line rather than
chords because the overtones are so rich. A440. |
